Mellen has been practicing Hotlomi massage since 2002. She had a strong influence by her mother Jenny Zhang who created and developed the Hotlomi technique. After graduated from York University with honours degree in Psychology, Mellen decided to turn into the beauty and healthcare industry. She finished her Esthetic diploma in 2002, and continued the esthetic training in Italy and German in 2004.
